ABOUT THE ROLE

Reporting to the Aquatic Manager, under the leadership of an Aquatic shift supervisor, you will provide safe and enjoyable aquatic opportunities for the public through the provision of delivering our programs to the facility patrons. You will prevent injuries through education, instruction, and safety supervision of the course participants.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Mandatory Qualifications: (to be maintained as a condition of employment)

• Lifesaving Society ‘Swim for Life’ Instructor Certification
• CPR-C ,  or HCP
• Police Record check
• Child abuse registry check (for employees over 18 yrs old)

Desirable Qualifications:

• National Lifeguard Service Award (NLS) – Pool Option
• Lifesaving Instructor (LSI)
• Aquafit Instructor certification

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

• Part-time
• Wage: $16.15/ hour
• Schedule: min of 3 hours a week up to 15 hours as scheduled, including evenings and weekends
