As a Custodian, you are an integral part of the visitor services team, ensuring that the facility standards are well maintained at all times during normal everyday use and special events. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Experience
- Previous custodial or hospitality experience preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as an integral part of a team.
Qualifications (willingness to obtain and to be maintained as a condition of employment)
- WHMIS certification.
- Must be able to lift 50lbs.
- Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting.
- Satisfactory Police Criminal Records Check required.
Working Conditions
- Flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move equipment as needed.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced and sometimes loud environment.
- Ability to work in differing temperature conditions.
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT
- Full time, 35 to 40 hours per week
- Wage: $17.00/ hour
- Eligible for employee benefits
- Schedule: 8-16 hours per week as scheduled, including evenings and weekends
- Employees of the LCLC receive a free membership to the facility
