As a Custodian, you are an integral part of the visitor services team, ensuring that the facility standards are well maintained at all times during normal everyday use and special events. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience

• Previous custodial or hospitality experience preferred. 
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks. 
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills. 
• Ability to work both independently and as an integral part of a team.

Qualifications (willingness to obtain and to be maintained as a condition of employment) 

• WHMIS certification. 
• Must be able to lift 50lbs. 
• Physical stamina to perform tasks that involve standing, walking, bending, and lifting. 
• Satisfactory Police Criminal Records Check required.
•  

Working Conditions 

• Flexible schedule, including days, evenings, and weekends. 
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift/move equipment as needed. 
• Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced and sometimes loud environment. 
• Ability to work in differing temperature conditions. 
  
  

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT

• Part-time
• Wage: $16.00/ hour
• Schedule: 8-16 hours per week as scheduled, including evenings and weekends
• Employees of the LCLC receive a free membership to the facility
